We pride ourselves on quality not quantity and use luxury, coat-appropriate shampoos on all dogs we groom as standard. We can offer advice on coat maintenance to help you keep your dog's coat in the best way possible in between grooms and we only use top quality products. All dogs grooming sessions are finished with a spritz of doggy cologne (unless otherwise requested) so they come back to you smelling aromatic too!

If your dog has a completely matted coat, it is Pet Zoomania policy to shave the whole coat using electric clippers, as matted coats can cause a variety of health issues for the dog. To de-matt would cause the animal tremendous stress and discomfort, often leaving a very thinned and damaged coat. Shaving the coat is quicker and more gentle on the animal. Once the coat is removed, the skin can be red due to the lack of air circulation and dirt that has accumulated underneath and that there may be sores or infection, this may need veterinary treatment. Extra costs will be incurred for dogs with matted coats or fleas. Extra costs will be incurred for late collection and missed appointments or those cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice. Pet Zoomania does not groom pregnant bitches or those in season, or aggressive dogs.
